"Edit: Having to drop this from a 5 to 1 star due to StateFarm being honestly a complete mess for the one thing they do, getting people insurance. I had recently switched over and not even 2 weeks in my policy is getting canceled because of a suspended license due to not having insurance in the last 3 years. Covid screwed a lot of people and something as simple as that doesn't flag on StateFarms systems during initial policy start up!? After going back and forth with them about it, they don't care and still canceling after getting me switched over not even a full month ago. I'll be looking to switch to another provider ASAP! Can't recommend StateFarm after this. If having a previously suspended license that's not even a result of DUI, Tickets or arrests is such an issue for this company.. they should address that from the get go and not after taking your money and getting you set up. They tell me I can stay with them but at a monthly increase of over $100 from the original price, hard no! StateFarm is not leaving a good impression considering this is how they operate. Had called to potentially switch over, but unfortunately, wasn't in the cards at the moment. However, the agent i spoke with Mr. Bones is absolutely fantastic! Very informative, joyful attitude and good conversations instead of just silence. Overall, nothing short of excellent! Of all the insurance companies/agents I've dealt with, He's the best. Will definitely be looking to come back and switch in future."

"I am SO sorry that this happened. I have looked at this and find that my team member did see your suspension. Our agent's system indicated that the auto was still eligible. Bones wrote you exactly as our system told him to and at that price. Our home office partners sometimes see more reports than us and rarely their outcome can be different than ours. When this happens there is no way to make that better other than to apologize and see how we can try to make it better. I am really sorry this happened but Mr. Bones didn't make an error. This is that rare case where our agent's system says "yes" and our underwriting partners change that to "no" after the fact. We are still happy to help you with the alternate carrier, Gainsco, that Mr. Bones quoted and recommended. I understood that the Gainsco quote was still an improvement from your current situation. Sadly, that is the best lemonade we can make from this basket of lemons. Scott"

"To give this agent one star is actually generous of me . On August 14th, 2025, I remitted a payment of $5400 for a six-month policy. On September 15th, I discovered three letters in my mailbox. Upon attempting to access my account I couldn't, I proceeded to access my mail to open four refund checks my policies were cancelled. This cancellation also encompassed my homeowner's insurance policy. As this discovery occurred at 5 PM, the office was closed, prompting me to contact customer service. I was informed that no information could be provided, other than that my husband had initiated a policy cancellation my.vehicles and a new home where no longer insured, of course panic sets in. I had to call my previous agent obtain homwowners and vehicle policies at 10pm at night. The following day, I was contacted by Aiden, who informed me that my policy had been inadvertently canceled by an individual named Logan. Aiden stated that this cancellation occurred without prior confirmation via phone or email, which is particularly concerning given that the policies were fully paid and this was my second renewal with the company. Consequently, the office should have undoubtedly confirmed such a significant action. My new agent subsequently informed me that I incurred a lapse penalty due to a nearly 24-hour period without coverage. It is important to note that Mr. Cameron did not contact me at any point. Aiden agreed to facilitate the accommodation of the increased cost and adjust the coverage, enabling the new insurance company to issue a refund for the penalty on the new policy. Aiden provided assurance that all financial accommodations would be taken care of , A new policy from my previous agent was implemented, resulting in an additional charge. I sought a refund for the difference in policy costs, approximately $450.00. That's when Mr. Cameron subsequently contacted me, indicating that a refund would not be issued as a reinstatement offer had been extended. He also informed me that Aiden was responsible for the cancellation. policy and not Logan, I informed him of my intent to contact the Florida Attorney General's office and subsequently file an Errors & Omissions claim; however, he appeared unconcerned and dismissive. His sole response was a repeated assertion that the policy could have been reinstated, which is unacceptable. I would no longer place my trust in their services. The situation involved over $470,000 in uninsured collateral on the road and canceled homeowner's insurance during hurricane season, yet there was a complete lack of concern or any offer of accommodation, such as a gift card. I was compelled to instruct my daughter and husband to halt their travel due to the potential for an accident with uninsured vehicles. His recurring response was that they would have backdated and reinstated the policy, implying they would have assumed responsibility and paid a claim despite our apparent cancellation. Ultimately, no resolution was provided by them. It has taken me some time to document this, and I am now proceeding with a formal complaint. I strongly advise against utilizing this agent's services, as my experience could potentially be replicated for others. The absence of compassion, care, and responsibility he demonstrated was deeply concerning. He appears to be unaware of the significant damage this oversight could have caused had it gone unnoticed for a longer duration. Therefore, I urge you to carefully consider this account and remember that Google facilitates reviews to inform other potential clients. Imagine the legal issues i would of had to pay for to get this sorted had any type if lose had occurred. Again, don't let this happen to you."

"You know what? It is true that my excellent team member did cancel the wrong policy. He is a great team member but he is also only human. A few days after this error, we found out about this when you called in. We immediately reinstated all policies with no lapse in coverage. Then you informed us that you had obtained other coverage. We extended your coverage to mesh with your new coverage elsewhere. Your new policies were more expensive. We tried to get you to stay put at the better price but you were insistent upon other coverage at a higher price. While i do understand your loss of confidence in our team, we offered a few ways to mitigate this: Coverage with our team at the price quoted, or coverage with another State Farm Agent (for a fresh start) at the price originally quoted. You chose to stay with another company at a higher price when we could have kept you with State Farm and a brand new agent at our quoted price. I am sorry that our team member made this error. We moved mountains to correct it and ensure that you had no financial or coverage loss at all. I am sorry that nobody can match our price. I'm also sorry that we lost your confidence in our team. When someone makes a mistake, all they can do is apologize and make it right. We did our very best to do those two things. We also have had a team class on making triple-sure that we pull the right household up when we make changes. This case has made us better. We could have helped you with no coverage or financial cost to you. I wish we could have been given that second chance. Someday, I hope you can give State Farm another shot, our agency or any other one. My Best Regards, Scott"

"I have never had such a pleasant time spending money before. Daymeion reached out to me after I purchased a renters policy which my previous auto insurance company didn't offer. I had just transferred my auto coverage with AARP, The Hartford, from Ohio to Florida. They were going to charge me more than twice my premium for the same coverage. To lower my premium I dropped some unnecessary coverage and some other things were changed without my being asked that I noticed when I reviewed the new policy. Daymeion restored my Ohio coverage levels minus one thing I dropped, and my new renters policy and auto policy together with State Farm cost me less than just auto alone with The Hartford. Daymeion is knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. It was truly a pleasure doing business with him."

"Awful experience. Customer service was cold and unhelpful , you’re just a number to them,(customer of nearly ten years). Our policy was canceled because my son, who has his own plan and is deployed in the military and unable to change address, still used our address. He was in an accident while traveling to his duty station out of state, and the response was simply, “the underwriters canceled your policy.” My wife hasn’t had an at-fault accident in 35 years, and I’ve never had one. No one cared. Everyone I spoke with acted like their hands were tied. We switched to a reputable company and are saving several hundred dollars every six months for the same coverage. Don’t waste your time or money here , shop around."

During the lead up to this event, our team informed you many times of how this issue could be easily resolved and you refused to address the issue (which I cannot disclose due to privacy issues). As an agency, it is true that we have limits on what we can do. When we bump against an underwriting rule, no amount of tenure or care will allow your agent to get a different result. In this case, we have several emails in which we apologize, and offer simple solutions to avoid the underwriting outcome that occurred. I wish we could have gotten you to take that one step and preserved our positive relationship. My Best regards to you and your family. I am sorry we couldn’t work this out for you. "

"Due to an upcoming marriage and move, I needed to cancel my HO insurance. Lexi was very nice, very thorough and was able to help me me with my request quickly. She also provided my updated premium for my car. I was very happy with the service from this office. UPDATE: We added my new husband's auto and home to my auto policy and saved hundreds from his previous separate insurance carriers. Zach was a true pleasure to work with and even helped cancel the previous insurance companies my husband had been insured through. State Farm is the insurance company to use, and Cameron Scott's agency is the one to work with!"

"Had to Stop in and make some quick changes to my policies. Rachel was very nice and pleasant. She apologized for any previous issues that caused me to have to make the changes on behalf of Scott Cameron. She took care of what I needed and didn't try to BS me to change my mind, however she did ask if I minded if she could follow up in 6 months to make sure I was satisfied. I was pleased that she Asked and didn't assume. I said yes, absolutely. I have been a long time State Farm customer and only recently moved some of my policies. However, after Rachel's professionalism today... She might be able to win me back for those couple in 6 months. Keep up the Good work Rachel! "Gave State Farm authorization over the week end thier service payment system to debit my account for the 2 payments due. I called the following Monday to verify payment. The representative indicated NO. Payment made and nothing in the system so I told him to again, debit my account for the payment. Next day, Tuesday, my account was debited twice causing an overdraft in my bank account . I left several messages with Scott Cameron to return my calls. No response . I was able to get to a rep, who tried to help me , still was not corrected. But one payment was credited back but the other, not . Finally getting nowhere, I disputed the 2nd payment and the bank will refund me back the 2nd payment. Today, 3 days later , no calls rectifying my issue. Still have not received a call from the agent, Scott Cameron . Very poor service & follow up. Considering moving our insurance at maturity. . Hopefully Scott is aware of his non responsiveness in returning calls . Very poor communication"
