"By far the most harassing insurance agent's office I've ever worked with. It appears that their marketing tactic is to call and leave a voicemail saying something along the lines of, I'm calling regarding something very important, please call back as soon as possible. They bait you into calling, only to try to sell you various types of insurance policies, even if you already carry certain policies with them. This is incredibly frustrating because you never know if they're calling you about a claim, an issue with coverage, etc. I changed carriers years ago and they're still calling me with this same worn-out tactic, even though I've called and asked them to NEVER call me unless it's an emergency."

"Esta oficina tiene un servicio terriblemente malo, para empezar Escribieron mi nombre mal 3 veces y casi 2 años después todavía tienen el nombre incorrecto en mi seguro del carro, la póliza del seguro de la casa me la enviaron por email 2 veces con nombre y demás incorrecto y para colmo cada 6 mese me suben $50 un total de $150 en año y medio que estuve con ellos, así que hace unos días atrás cambié de compañía, ya no aguantaba, lo peor de lo peor!!!, in another words 1 star is a little too much!!!!"

"I rarely write a review, but I am very disappointed with this office as of late. We have used State Farm for over 40 years and used this office in particular for 20 years (we currently have 7 policies with this office from our household). The competency level has gone in the toilet. I don't know if it is a result of growing too fast or too little training, but we were completely screwed by the agent that handled our rental dwelling policy. As you all know, getting insurance coverage in Florida has become a nightmare with many carriers leaving the state. This happened to us this year with Progressive. We were given another alternative that would automatically take us as a client with the same coverage; however, foolishly we shopped at State Farm. We paid the fees for the inspections and our new coverage with State Farm started on Aug. 10. On Oct. 1, we were sent an email (they didn't even have the decency to give us a phone call and offer other alternatives) by Scott Cameron's office (not even by the same agent that wrote the policy) that they were cancelling our coverage effective Oct. 20, not even 3 weeks to get new coverage and during hurricane season no less. What is the reason? Because the property is in a trust. The declarations page states that it is in a trust so this isn't a surprise. Also, didn't the agent know this when they wrote the policy? State Farm Corporate said this policy changed Dec. 2023 after I inquired which was 10 months after Dessiree bound the policy. Poor training and poor due diligence. This office should have known about this policy change. Now we need to find another carrier with COMPARABLE COVERAGE and PRICE to what we have (good luck!!) and we are also out the inspection fees that were required! Why should we be out this money? Shouldn't the office at least offer to reimburse us for these fees? This is the 3rd strike this year at this office. I won't even go into the other issues we have had!! I asked to speak with Scott directly about this issue and was told he was booked out for quite a while and too busy!! It wasn't mentioned that he had personal family matters. This is how successful businesses fail!! I understand delegation, but you need to make sure the people under you are doing their job!! This is a very big mistake!! Very, very unhappy!!! Yes, we were given a couple of quotes from other carriers (Citizens and Florida Peninsula). Florida Peninsula does not offer sinkhole coverage that we had or any liability (we had up to 2,000,000 on the current policy) and has a cap on the roof replacement. Plus the cost is much higher. Citizens has less personal liability (only 100,000) and is double the cost of what we are currently paying. And, this was after I called and made a huge stink and asked to speak with Scott. They said they would have a manager call by the end of the day. At 4:30 p.m. no one had called so I called again and Misty said she would be out of office the following day and would have Zach call with quotes from other carriers. So yeah, we were offered other coverage after I said what are you going to do about this, but again it does not compare with what we have. Also, not knowing corporate mandates for rental dwellings is not an excuse. If it is a new policy, they should either update their offices or allow coverage for the remainder of the term. It isn't an excuse that the agent wasn't familiar. They shouldn't be writing policies they don't have experience with. And yes, the office did much better when Debra was writing the policies. She was always very knowledgeable. These new agents don't seem to know much, but let's hire on 4 more newbies. Having people in management is great, but they aren't the ones writing the policies. We spent over a month and almost 30 emails back and forth with Dessiree and she still got it wrong. Looking back at the coverage we were sent by State Farm Corporate, it doesn't even match what we had discussed as far as sinkhole."

"I am so sorry that we let you down on this case. State Farm rules for writing a Rental Dwelling are pretty tight and my team member had never encountered this one before. In fact our management person talked to our home office to dispute this case. You know that we have already provided quotes to you for an alternate carrier that will serve your needs. As an agency, we try to be perfect but this business has constant wrinkles that we sometimes discover in this manner. Nobody in our mangement team knew this new rule. it is not truthful that we have left you high and dry. Zachary in my office has already provided the quotes and spoken with someone in your household (your online name, of course is not associated with our agency). Perhaps talk to the person we are dealing with and they can correct you about this matter. Again, we are not perfect and i am sorry that this new rule hit us all by surprise. I am proud that my team immediately found other coverage and spoke with you with alternatives very quickly. As to me being too busy, i am navigating my father's cancer while training 4 new team members. I have a 4 person management team so that my customers can always get to someone in leadership. You spoke with Misty, one of our longest term team members and a member of management in our office. again, my apologies. Scott"
